There will be no club ride on April the 15th as the Road Guard Capt. is holding a pre season road guard practice. Current R/G's and member who think they want to be a road guard are welcome for try outs.
After R/G practice I am filming chapter 2 of the NLMC teaching movie which is parking and leaving a parked position. This is the hardest chapter as it deals with slow speed maneuvering (always a hit with the membership).
If you want to be in the movie but your not sure you have the level of skill needed? Just show up and try, if you are in trouble I will spend some time with you to try to get you up to speed. If after some work you still suck then you will not be in this chapter. Take heart there is chapter 3 which is formation riding, interstate hwy riding, turning and passing in formation. So there is still a chance to get your big break in movies, possibly a leading role but theres always a need for a good stunt double.
The next meeting we will set our riding gear the AOB and location. This will be posted on the e-mail if your not at the meeting.
If your interested chapter 1, is the intro to the club and is done at the e-board table. Chapter 4 is Kill boxes and I want to stage a few near crashes with a helmet cam and some low budget special effects...don;t ask.
Yes and I can picture some role playing...some politically incorrect hijinks's and a few sacred cows will end up wearing barbecue sauce, but after all it's chapter 4.
This is being done to help our current membership see how things should be done People looking to join a club will get a look and make the choice based on more than how the patch looks. And even better, any member meeting up by chance with another member knows exatly how they will deal with most challenges they find because they both watched and praticed the movie.
See you on the set
R/C
