SATURDAY'S RIDE 4/7/12

A group of riders met at the DD in Durham at 10:30am, there were several NLMC members, friends, prospective members and friends of friends, in fact I dont know who some of these people were, but at one point someone counted 14 bikes and 16 people?? Greetings & formalities were exchanged and after some hot coffee, we started our loosely organized ride. We went left, left, right, up, down, right, left, slowed for an Easter Egg Hunt, stopped at a church (its almost Easter isnt it?) and for some more hot coffee and finally arrived at Julians Brick Oven Pizza in monroe?.

The place was small (who knew?)and we took up every table in the place. Had a decent meal, the items consumed were: some grinders, pizza slices, chicken tenders, clam pie, etc etc.etc... After more greetings and chatter some headed home via Rt 25 and the merrit and the rest of us continued on the ride, more lefts rights ups downs thru Bethel, Redding, Easton, Weston and Trumbull till we eventualy hopped on the merrit and headed back east.

It was a fun day guys and gals, very nice to meet you all, hope to see you again soon!

Thanks to Willie for his part in organizing this ride.
