back in the late 70's, 80's and 90's

During those years I was into fire photography and video footage. Myself, Jerry Miner and other members of the fire department spent a lot of time in the ghettos of New York City, chasing rigs, sleeping in cars and riding the units of FDNY to fires. From Ladders 44, 33, 17, and 19 in the Bronx to Harlem units like the Fire Factory to units in Brooklyn New York like the Nut house Truck (111) and The Tonka Truck (124) in Bushwick. The following is a link about the Tonka Truck.

This is a documentary filmed in the Bronx at the Animal House, Ladder 33 and Engine 75, this was the first house I rode with, during the day i rode in the jump seat on the engine, that night I rode in the cab next to the lieutenant of Ladder 33.
