Mike Burns Benefit

Posted Ocyober 5, NLMC blog

On August 28 2010, a friend of mine Mike Burns was in a motorcycle accident and sustained serious head injuries. It is with heavy heart that I must say on 9/23/2010 Mike succumbed to his injuries...he was just 51 years old... Mike leaves behind a wife, six children and a grandchild… May he rest in eternal peace…

On Saturday, October 16, 2010 there is a Chicken Barbecue benefit from 3-5pm (take-out only) at the Canterbury Fire Dept. Located on Rte 14 in Canterbury Ct. at a cost of $15 per person.

Mike was a self –employed carpenter…, son, husband, father, grandfather and all around good guy... His family could use your support…

If you would like tickets or would just like to make a donation to support this worthy cause, please contact me at 860-***-7783 or 4125eaol. com

I want thank you all in advance for your support…

Warmest Regards,
Kevin Wakely

Patriot Guard Riders

Windham County will be taking Club lead on this Benefit Event. That County will have a meeting on the 12th where they will announce it to that County's riders, and be announcing this function at the Clubs meeting on Thursday night.

Patriot Guard Riders have shown great support when we have had members lost, they also do a great job with the military home comings, Flag stands, and support for the troops and families of the fallen.
