There will be a 6 bike show in the front and a 5 bike show in the rear, but, we need to fill in the middle to make us look like a float. So push away from the sofa, turn off the tube and join us. Dress warm.
We will be joining post parade for dinner. We always take first place, so let's not change anything.

Sun. 12/05/10 - Montville Light Parade

4:00pm - AOB Dunkin Donuts, Rte 32
5:00pm - Parade Starts
The plan is to line up on Rte 32 instead of going into the parking lot. We will be the last segment of the parade. Dinner will follow at Friendly's Pizza on Rte 32 by Maple Ave. Last year was our first and we took first place.
Tue. 12/07/10 - Wreaths Across America
3:30pm - AOB Mobil Station on I395 across from CSP Troop E
The plan is to jump in behind the escort following same to Old Saybrook for a wreath laying ceremony, followed by a free dinner at the High School provided by the town. If you haven't done this before the meal is an outstanding gourmet level presentation.

6:00pm Dinner - If you haven't had one of Thib's dinners you are missing an outstanding meal for $ 6.00
7:00pm Business Meeting - This week we have a Bylaw vote to call on the agenda. "Widowers Clause"

Addendum from The Middlesex County Chairman

The torch Light Parade is a big event with bands coming from all parts of the NE. Sponsored by the Dept of Public Works and OS. Police Dept the parade for the motorcycles will be a straight slow run down main street to the firehouse. At this point you donate a unwrapped toy. Hot chocolate and cider will be available.

You can then decide to stay and watch the parade showing the club colors around the street or meet up at the Saybrook Partheon Diner on Rt.1. It can be a cold event and rain at times so dress properly. The parade goes off no matter whatever hits the fan. This is Saybrooks 1st annual toy run. Please attend if possible. Vinny

Sun. 12/12/10 - Niantic Light Parade

4:00pm - AOB - McDonald's in Flanders (East Lyme) Rte 1 and 161
The most highly attended parade in Eastern Connecticut. We haven't been able to get more than 2nd place, I think the fix is in, but it's an exciting parade and a lot of fun. Dinner will also follow this event.

Sat. 12/18/10 - NLMC Annual Christmas Party

BYOB, Pot Luck & Yankee Swap
6:00pm Dinner begins
7:00pm Yankee Swap

This is a real fun event if you know how a Yankee Swap works. Bring a gift for $ 10.00 - $ 15.00, generic is best but you can go male or female as well. Bring your best dish. You may want to check with Patti regarding the food you are thinking to bring so there is not a lot of duplication. And as you know we have no bar so bring your own. his event is a real hoot LOL !

Looking forard to seeing you all

Jim
