It's 6am,Sunday September 26th, 2010

Posted Sunday September 26, 2010 NLMC blog
The weather in Rockport Massachusetts is 58 degrees and mostly cloudy. The wind is East/Northeast at 8 mph with gusts to 14. I am willing to bet, if I know my club well enough, not many are up right now to witness it. Ah, sunrise over the North Cape, that golden glow over the seas horizon, a sight to stir the soal and awaken the seafarer of old in all of us.If normality continues and Club weekenders stay true to form, anyone seeing the sunrise will be doing so through half open, bloodshot eyes. For the day they have a forcast of 66 and partly cloudy, great weather for riding.
For the rest of the riding populace, that being those souls who stayed behind for one reason or another, A.O.B. is at 10am. Dunkin Donuts in Montville. The weather at 6:05am is 54 degrees and cloudy, humidity is 92%, Barametric Pressure 30.00, dew point 52 degrees, visibility 10miles, wind is East/ Northeast at 6mph with gusts to 8. The temperature here should reach a high of 71 degrees with your destination expecting 69 degrees with a feel of 70, clouds and sunshine.
The roads today should be a combination of curves and straights with moderate elevation changes. So grab your gear!!! Get out there and ride!!! October is coming and with it colder weather and leaf covered roads.
These are last few days of leaning into a corner without fear of leaves and or frost and ice.

Remember your Mellon protectors, Massachusetts has a zero tolerance for brain matter on the road, (makes road crews ill when they have to pick up things instead of just hosing off the pavement).

Have an absolutley Great Time and may your highway time be a minimum, that of course will be up to you.
