Operation Homefront

Just got this word today about an Operation Homefront kick off event being held tomorrow at the New London Outback Steakhouse, 305 N. Frontage Road.


Right now a few local Politicians and Police Chief’s have been invited but Joseph Durso, the manager doesn’t have many Military connections. I don’t know if you would like to run this up your Chain of Command or not but here it is.


Thursday, March 4th, at 1130, a Kick Off Meal will be served complimentary to all attendees at the New London Outback Steakhouse. You must RSVP today at 860-447-9205 if you would like to attend this Kick Off event.
Through rest of the entire month of March, the meal is not complimentary but for any menu item selected from the Red, White, & Bloomin’ menu, a dollar will go to Operation Home Front providing assistance for our troops, their families and wounded warriors when the return home from deployment. Outback has pledged $1milllion toward this effort. Tim McGraw has endorsed Operation Home Front.


Those of you who belong to Active Duty, Reserve, or Veterans Organizations may want to let the top of your Chain of Command know so you can send a rep to the Kick Off event. The rest of us can support the effort if we wish throughout the rest of the month of March.
