The rain started Friday, ran through Saturday into Sunday. By Sunday afternoon it had cleared enough to ride. Unger road was under water with just about every ounce of rocks and gravel that normally lines the road placed smack dab in the middle of the road forming a stone filled slimey gumbo. The Benefit dinner put on by the Montville Lions Club had a light New London Motorcycle Club Turn out, seven members with some family brought along. Two bikes and the rest cars. The food was good and I am glad to say they gave you enough so that you didn't need seconds. I don't know how they made out but the turnout seemed light. It looked, when I left, that they may have spent more on food than they made.
