News from The Windham County Riders

The kids from up north got together last night for their monthy eat and meet at Martello's Pizza on Westminster road (#208) in Canterbury. The meeting (as all Club meetings) began with food, followed by general information.

One of the items brought up during the meeting was RICK"S BIRTHDAY !!!!  Yes he is another year older.

Joe Fogarty is at U-Mass for an Antipasto, I mean Angioplasty (For those who are not sure what this is (and it will be damn few in this club) Blocked coronary arteries, which supply the heart muscle with nutrients and oxygen, can be repaired with bypass surgery or a balloon procedure called angioplasty. A thin flexible catheter with a balloon at the tip is threaded through an artery (usually in the groin) to the heart and clogged artery. The balloon is then inflated to open up the artery. A thin wire mesh stent is often used to help keep it open, even after the balloon is deflated. Some stents contain drugs to help keep the artery open).

Lets all wish Joe the best and hope he's back on the bike soon. Bubha is looking into having Ron send a Basket.

If you need to know what Antipasto is, then you are probably not eating enough salads and such and may be finding out for yourself what an Angioplasty is.

SATURDAY RIDES: The Windham County Chair is looking for ride plans, If you have an idea, write it down, with your suggested route and forward it to them and they will look it over, and if their is interest, your ride can happen.
