From the President

Treasurer Paul Neves still has 9 tickets left @ $ 20.00 per ticket for the Vets Transitional Home Benefit Dinner/Dance at the Preston VFW, tomorrow, Friday, March 12th. Guest speakers will be Blumenthal, Courtney, and Rob Simmons. Dinner, Live Music and Dancing.
For those last minute folks, you can meet the Club at 6:00pm and get a ticket at the old Rosies Diner, now a pizza house, Rte 2A and 2 in Preston. From there we are departing as a group. Wear your Club vest.

Sunday, March 14th, join your Club for a St Patrick's Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner fundraiser to benefit the blind sponsored by the Montville Lions Club. $ 12.00 adults $ 8.00 children. Wear your Club vest. Departure from Dunkin Donuts at 5:00pm. This may be an important political event as well to help the Club with our tax battle. I will be joining our attorney, Harry Heller, on Wednesday, 17 March, (St Patty's) at 6:30pm to appear before the tax assessment board of appeals. Wish me luck, though how can an Irishman loose on St. Patricks Day LOL!!!

We have a volunteer to lead the Club at the St. Patricks Day Parade in New London. Only fitting, Irishman Dana McFee stepped up to the plate. All who are willing and available should meet Dana at 12:00 noon at the new Dunkin Donut's, on Coleman Street in New London. Wear your Honor Guard apparel if you got it, your vest with whatever you have otherwise. I believe there is and after parade party at Hannafin's on State Street.
