We lost the bid to run the beer tent for the June 26th HOG Northeast Tour Rally. Apparently the tour Coordinator mentioned us to Mike's Famous HOG Chapter, and the fact that we would be running it, and they came back adamantly opposed to the idea quoting unkind reasoning. We don't really care as we were already on the fence about doing it because of liablilty, and were leaning toward not doing it, but I would remember this next time you are shopping for a Harley, parts, or service.

Why a Harley Shop would alienate a  Motorcycle Club where a "large" percentage of Harley owners are in it is beyond me.  Maybe it's just ignorance, I was over there one day and someone mentioned that NLMC doesn't like Harleys. I corrected the salesman who said it, but sometimes when a belief is in place it's hard to fight. klay

We have not sold many tickets for the March 12th, dinner/dance fundraiser for the veteran's home project. If you are not interested in attending please at least make a donation through the Club. We have always had a great relationship with the Freedom Riders who have always supported us as we support them. We can pass the hat for those who would like to help but do not want to attend, though I am expecting a real good time.

We started to sell T-Shirt sponsor blocks but more need to be done. We are going simple this year with a same color shirt and one color printing. Multi-color logos may not work. Position on the shirt will be based on the size of the ad. We will try to accommodate everyone but larger ads take precedent for the logistics issue. Blocks are just short of 2"x 3" and can be purchased at $ 100.00 per block.
