From the President Sunday ride report

If you missed today's run you missed a good time.
The facility was great, the ride lead by the Connecticut State Police was perfect, a constant 40mph over about an hour and one half, roughly 40 miles on nice roads. NLMC Road Guards performed flawlessly to a point we received compliments from the Connecticut State Police as the best Road Guards they have worked with.
Upon return, the band was outstanding and the food excellent. The best Clam Chowder I have every had in my life.
The Drill team put on a stella performance, many watched and made comment about how good the team performed.
The down side. This was a Middlesex County Event of the year that all is supposed to support, yet only 16 bikes and 19 members showed up. Disgraceful! We barely came up with the 12 Road Guards that we had, including myself, with 4 other bikes and 7 members riding in the group. Our Patch definitely did not make a large footprint on this one. With all the effort Vinny, Smurph, and Tammy put into recruitment only one signed up for the raffle. We need to support those who make that extra effort for the good of the Club.

That being said it was a great day.
