Brake and evade training!!!! Respect for the patch, and a new Ride leader.

Good ol' Tom ran a few, oh lets say..training exercises this weekend. Many a time he has threatened to Throw a Big Wheel
in front of the Club to see how they handle a "in formation brake and evade" exercise. Well he didn't use a big wheel, but he did manage to run the test. Cruising along route 7 somewhere between there and closer to there, he launched his coat off the top off his tour Pack. It went up and dropped in front of Smurph who was able to evade it at a seconds notice.

Tom also demonstrated how to respect the patch, as the jacket landed, he has it trained well enough that it landed patch up, keeping it out of the dirt. Unfortunately as Smurph cleared the jacket with a quick violent move left and back, this put the jacket in front of Vinny who manged to run over it pretty much dead center, failing his brake and evade and respect for the patch.

In what may have been a further lesson, Tom arranged for a couple younger members to lead a ride. He did this by waiting till the Club was spaced out a bit due to traffic and signals. He then craft fully  took the E board (Natale) and Road Guards onto route 41 then a dead end road, allowing the following members to stay on route seven as the ride intended. This allowed Sandwich and Kaitlyn to lead the ride for a short distance before they stopped to recover the rides leaders.

It was all planned....right?

Tom?
