Sunday ...was

It was, because it's over. It was...the Gift Run and we had a really good turn out. We probably had more riders on that run than any other this year, plus we had members who drove to Harkness Park. The turnout from Non Club members was also pretty good, Tree filmed them rolling in two by two and it took 20 minutes for the last bike to pass through the gate from the first one.

For the Club the day started chilly, everyone getting layered up, dragging their bikes out and running in the chill air to Dunkin on Colman. temperatures were in the 30's with frost on the grass and cars. Arriving at Dunkin everyone stood around drinking coffee and such and talking before the group got together and ran to Stash's for Breakfast. After breakfast we joined Tom in a ride across the river,  up through Ledyard, Gales Ferry and back across the river into Uncasville, and down to Waterford to Harkness to drop off the Gifts and get ready for the incoming ride out of the Waterford Speedbowl.

Once parking duty was over the Club joined the riders for raffles, refreshments and meeting with friends.
