Triumph at the Indy Mile

The AMA Pro Flat Track racers returned to the famed Indy Mile last night in front of a packed grandstand. Mikey Martin qualified his Bonneville Performance Triumph in the 7th position while Johnny Lewis qualified his Latus Motors Racing Triumph in the 9th position.

Both riders started their heat races 3rd on the grid and brought home a 4th place finish earning them a trip to the feature. Martin started the feature from 10th with Lewis beside him in 11th. Lewis retired from the race on lap 9 to finish 18th and Martin retired from the race on lap 22 to finish 15th.
