Meeting
Location: Cross
Sound Ferry, New London Ferry Dock, 2 Ferry Street, New London.
Coming
South on CT32 into New London stay in left lane and make left at Police
Station, go across Water St. and railroad tracks to dock on right.
AOB: 6:45
AM Ferry departs at 7:00 AM Return Departure is at 7:00 PM
Route: We will leave the ferry on
North Road, which will turn into CR48, Sound Ave. This will become 25A. We will
make a right at Moore’s Hill Road in Laurel Hollow and take it to the end. Then
we will make a right onto Cove Road, which will turn into East Main Street as
we come into the town of Oyster Bay. We will then fork to the right onto Audrey
Avenue. The garage should be on our left side. This leg should take about 2 ½
hours, about 83 miles*.
We should have 2 to 3 hours to have lunch and see the garage. We must leave by 3PM
Return Route Part One: We will stop at the
Snowflake Ice Cream Shoppe,1148 West Main Street in Riverhead for some homemade
ice cream. Leaving 20th Century Cycles we will head South on Audrey
Ave. and make a right onto South St. (NY106 South). We will take this to the
Northern Pkwy. East and take this to the end. It will become NY454 (Veteran’s
Hwy)/NY347 (Smithtown Bypass). We will stay left on NY347 when these roads
divide. NY347 becomes the Nesconset Hwy. and ends at NY25A. We take NY25A to
the end where it merges with NY25. Our destination is on NY25 in the town of Riverhead,
just past Mill Road. This leg should take about 1 ½ hours, about 58 miles*
Return Route Part Two: We will head back the way we
came and make a right onto Mill Road. Go a short distance to CR58 and make
another right to go East. We will go past Roanoke Ave. and make a left onto
CR43 Northbound. We will take this to the end and make right onto Sound Avenue.
And stay straight to go onto CR48/Middle Road. This will become Main Road and
end at the Ferry. This leg should take about 1 hour, about 32 miles*
*NOTE: These
estimates don’t take gas stops or other stops into account.

Charge, but I bet they have a gift shop!
Ferry: Motorcycle
and Rider: $58.86 round trip Passenger: $26.28 round trip
Each rider is
responsible to make their own reservations. I suggest at least a few days in
advance.
Depart New London: 7:00 AM Depart
Orient Point: 7:00 PM
