Obituary Ron Durand

     - Ronald Ernest Durand 61, of Second St Lebanon. died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. He was born in Hartford, Ct on October 26, 1948 son of the late Ronald Roger and Phyllis Virginia (Vique) Durand. Ronald worked as a home health aide before working in the office at the VNA of Southeastern CT for twenty five years. Ron was a kind gentleman who loved people and was a proud member of the New London Motorcycle Club. He was an avid biker always ready to go on an "adventure" with his wife and club brothers and sisters. He will be sadly missed by his family and anyone whose life he touched. On August 16, 2008 he was united in marriage to Cheryl Philbrook Goyette at the NLMC in Montville. In addition to his wife Cheryl, Ronald is survived by three stepdaughters Jennifer Goyette, Amanda Goyette and Christine Bernier all of Lebanon, three step granddaughters and three step grandsons and his brothers and sisters of the New London motorcycle club. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10 from 10AM to 12PM at the Cummings - Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff St. Norwich, CT 06360.
