Town Council Meeting

We had a fairly nice turnout for the City Council Meeting last night, about 20 or so members met at Dunkin Donuts before heading to the meeting. Dave even rode his bike to show we were a motorcycle club. The meeting started at 7pm, because we were not on the agenda we would have to wait till the end of the meeting but  councilmen Beetham made a motion to waive that rule so that we could state our position at the beginning of the meeting. Jim had printouts made of our position and past history for each member of the council and both he and Dan Dun made verbal statements. Hopefully this will put us on record with the town in regards to our tax exempt status as a charitable organization.

A couple of personal notes, Councilman Mcfee looked very respectable sitting up there in his recliner. And he dresses better for those meetings than he did for ours.

Secondly, it was clearly apparent that our meetings are a-lot more fun. Even with the occasional differences of opinions. If you truly want to know what boring is I suggest you sit in at one of these meetings. Everything is too organized and everyone is too damn soft spoken and polite. And no one had any war stories.
