From the President


Once again we have arbitrarily loss our tax exempt status for the Club's Property. The Tax Accessor just simply decided to change her interpetation of the law and decide on her own without consulting with the town attorney that we should no longer be eligible.


This was a battle I had to fight 4 years ago and now it has reared it's ugly head again. We are probably looking at a tax liability of $ 3,500.00/year plus. This would mean single memberships would have to rise to $ 75.00-$ 100.00/yr and Couple Memberships $ 125.00 to $ 150.00.


It is extremely important that we fight this decision. We will talk about this at tonight's meeting.

I hope the entire Club will turn out to flood the room. Many of us are Montville Resident's, all residents should be in the room.
