You all suck

At the Thursday meeting the VP mentioned that Dale is holding "Basic Riding Skills" on Tuesday nights and that everyone should go if for nothing else than a refresher for the new season.

The Road Captain was a little more blunt (As if this was something new). Tom says everyone should learn the basics, without basics you cannot learn escape and evade. Everyone NEEDS escape and evade training. If you practise it you will do the right thing when you need to. Slamming the brakes on is NEVER the right thing. Tom says we all need to have this down. nothing ever comes at you on a straight of way, it usually sneaks up on you on a corner, on a hill.

Tom went on to say, that we all need this because...

(Understanding peoples feelings and people skills have never been Tom's strong point. But he tells us this because he cares.)

I think it's just that he doesn't want us all piling into the back of him when something happens.
