Tired of it

This seems to be the year for motorcycles to need rides. There seems to be more bikes this year that have needed a flat bed or tow truck than any other year I remember. Between flat tires, fuel issues, fork seals, ignition locks, lost keys, broken belts, crashes or just rides to the shop for service. I don't know about you but I am tired of it. The Club has trailers, but find someone to tow one if you need it. Members have trailers but they are either on the ride with you on their bike or no where to be found when you need one. There is no worse feeling than being stuck somewhere without transportation and little to no money in your pocket.

So..

I bought a truck.

I figure we can always find someone who can not be on a ride but would not mind following along at the rear, and on long trips it can be used by members who would rather transport their bikes to the location for one reason or another and use their bike when they get there.

So with that in mind I purchased such a vehicle, the back area will hold three motorcycles, the vehicle will hold 4 passengers, behind the driver I put in a folding seat/bed and a stove for cooking. it has a standard transmission, cinder block cruise control, and Air Conditioning. Like a UPS tuck it has a cab sunroof and a Box sunroof. Now they can just cruise along in quiet comfort knowing that when they get where they are going they can ride their bike, and if anyone has a problem along the way the bike just goes in the back and they join the comfort club.
