Honda introduced the 2012 models

 Honda introduced few of its 2012 models, including one of its most technologically advanced street bikes, the VFR1200F.

The VFR1200, (unique Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) system that eliminates the need for a clutch or shift lever), made its debut in 2010


In 2012 the bike has been updated, the biggest news is that the Honda VFR1200F now has traction control

Honda has also updated the DCT system, which now "intelligently optimizes shift points relative to the rider's throttle inputs for a more user-friendly operation." Honda is calling the updated DCT system "second generation."
Along with that, the engine power has been redesigned to boost low-end torque output between 2000 rpm and 4000 rpm, a larger 5.0 gallon fuel tank, and a revised seat for more comfort.
