DON'T RIDE IN THE RAIN!!! At least not in Groton

While you were on the reason to ride, and I was at work, Carey was cruising down 184 in Groton Ct. heading for Stonington. As he turned onto rte 27 the bike hit oil under the water. The bike went one way and he and his wife the other. The fire department arrived, the ambulance arrived, (took his wife), and the police came. Both Police departments. One of the Cops, having not been there during the accident had the psychic ability to tell what had happened and issued Carey a ticket for excessive speed due to conditions. Carey talking with the other Police was not happy, as a matter of fact those officers found it quizzical. When Carey told the cop he wasn't going fast when the incident happened, the Officer said, well, it must have been too fast or it wouldn't have happened. Carey asked the officer if he rode a bike. The Officer said, "No, but if I did, I wouldn't ride it in the rain."

There is a statement of intelligence.

So the way I see it, if you are riding in Groton and it starts to rain, you had better pull over and park, because you may not want a ticket.
