Last week's Vermont Mileage Run

Mister Natale woke up at 3am got ready and headed north, he met Mister Cherrick at exit 33 on 91, Jennings rd, John woke up during the ride. They headed north along rte 91 through Ct. through Massachusetts and into Vermont. They got off the road at the rest area in Guilford Vt. To ah...rest.

Back on 91 they got off at exit 3 for breakfast at a former Hojo's restaurant.

On the highway again, the next stop was Ascutney Mountain at 830am, which of course was closed.

From Ascutney the duo took back roads to White River Junction. Where they side tracked to Quechee Gorge.

Leaving Quechee the duo picked up 91 north again and ran to exit 21 at St. Johnsbury where they reversed direction on 91 and ran south towards rte 93 (south) into New Hampshire.
Cruising along route 93 they ran into barricades and the lanes were funneled into a single lane and every car was stopped by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) each vehicle operated was asked for their papers and where they came from. (Steve was nervous, he was carrying a days supply of Redbull). Once clear they continued south down into Massachusetts and started hitting Holiday traffic.

Both said it was a great ride, a little cool in the morning, but a great day.

Steve demonstrated to John the cruise control on, arms back behind your head, relaxed cruising position of a Ultra compared to the Road Liner.
