Michael D. Messina, Sr., age 63, of West
Haven passed away suddenly on January 1, 2013. Loving husband of Barbara Adams
Messina. Born in New Haven, son of Nellie Brooks Messina of North Carolina and
the late Constantine F. Messina. Father of James (Gwen Williamson) Messina of
West Haven, father of Michael (Shannon) Messina, Jr. of Southport, grandfather
of Aedan and Michela Messina, brother of John (Nancy) Messina of Wallingford,
Paul (Marcia) Messina of West Haven, and Doris Ehlenfeldt of NC. Michael served
in the US Marine
Corps during the Vietnam War, and Michael worked for WellPoint/Anthem BCBS as a business
analyst. He was also a member of the New London Motorcycle Club, City Point
Yacht Club and a parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Church. For
