Here it is !!! The Road Captain's new highway pass

This is very simple, what it comes down to is having road guards that can remember a couple simple moves and the rest of the club passing a road guard.

Tis extremely simple...

A.  The Club Approaches a slow moving car from the rear, on a highway.

B.  The Road Captain instructs the sweeper to take the lane, once clear the entire column moves to pass.

C.  As the 1st Right side Guard passes the car the Road Captain will inform him to take the lane.

D.  The right Guard holds a medium speed, holding the car behind him.
E.   The Left Road Guard moves to the Right side position.

F.  The Club passes the car, AND THE ROAD GUARD to retake the lane.

G. Once the Club passes and retakes the lane, the Guard Passes the Club and rejoins in the Left Guard Position.

This way there is no jostling of bikes, we control the lane to pass, we control the lane after the pass, and the road guard makes his way back up front with out slowing the column. Because the Left Road Guard assumed the right hand position the Guard that is recovering can take the left position without a braking  maneuvering.

The main thing for the Club to remember is to Pass both the Car and the Road Guard holding the car.
