Weekend report From the President

Chicken Farm Ride
When you missed it! It's gone forever. What a great ride it was. Perfect weather, great roads, 30 motorcycles and 40 plus members moving like a well oiled machine down shady country roads. Dana brought a new couple of guests from Middletown, Dennis C. had a new friend on the back of his Harley, much better looking than Dennis, and our newest members Joe and Jeanie also along for the ride.
The food was fantastic as usual and plenty of it. For some reason the server took Dana's plate away from him, still not sure what that was about. The bill came to $ 516.++ dollars and the server made a
$ 100.++ plus tip. Not bad for 40 plus people.

On the return trip we all stopped at Ekonk Farm (The Brown Cow) for ice cream. Good stuff if you have never stopped there on Rte 49 in Ekonk. It's easy to go by without seeing the driveway. We'll have to this again in the late fall.

Run to Misquamicut
A second nice ride in a row. We left Dunkin Donut's to my surprise with 11 motorcycles. There was no Road Captain, so Road Sergeant Joe Fogarty lead the ride and did a great job. When we got to Rhode Island I wanted to take a back road to get there but Joe's built in GPS over rode the President kept on a direct course LOL!!! We drove right up to Paddy's on the beach with no issues. Doug Reese knew we could park our bikes on the sidewalk across the street avoiding a $ 10.00 parking fee which worked out great. My first time to Paddy's, the food was descent, a little expensive but not over the top. I felt like we were in Ft. Lauderdale as we watch a large volleyball challenge on the beach. I think Jason and Ruben were speechless the whole time we were there, Great time, we left for home in the dark and pretty much split up when we hit I95 as some continued up Rte 2. Once again, if you missed it, gone forever
