Bob passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon at his home.
He was born in Norwich Dec. 25, 1946, the son of Lawrence and Beatrice (Adams) Pepin.
Robert was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force Special Forces Unit earning a Purple Heart, and was honorably discharged.
He had been employed as a corrections officer at Whiting Forensic Institute for 27 years, and was last employed at Foxwoods Casino for 16 years in the security and valet departments, retiring in 2008.
Robert is survived by his companion of 20 years, Teri D. Smith.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
Burial is private. Arrangements by Godere Funeral Home Taftville.
Bob was always good for a laugh and a story, besides Motorcycles he enjoyed Deer Hunting. There are probably not very many members of the Club who have not had his Venison Stew.
I for one will miss him and his stories.
I like to beleive he is there was a group of members waiting fo him, and right now they are out riding through the Heavens.

REMEMBER
If you are able, save for them one glance backwards when you are leaving, for the places they can no longer go.
