Do you know the area Helmet Laws?

We all know there is no helmet law in Connecticut, correct?

Well...

What if I were to tell you there is a "Helmet Law" in CT.

Connecticut has a partial "Helmet Law", Persons

17 and younger require a Helmet.

Rhode Island is Passenger only?

Well Rhode Island is a little more complicated than Connecticut, All passengers require a helmet, All persons under the age of 20 require a helmet

All persons, the first year of licensee (regardless of age) require a Helmet.

So if you are going to do some traveling you may want to look into it.

Massachusetts - Operator and Passenger

Vermont - Operator and Passenger

New Hampshire - NO LAW

Maine - Helmets required for operators with instructional/ learner's permits.

All passengers 17 years and younger ,

All passengers if their operators are required to wear a helmet. (Learners Permits)

New York - Operator and Passenger

New Jersey - Operator and Passenger

Pennsylvania - 20 years and younger, Plus all operators in the first two years of licensee unless they have taken a Motorcycle Safety Foundation or Pennsylvania DOT course.

Just for the record, out of all 50 states only Three states have NO HELMET LAWS.

New Hampshire

Iowa

Illinois
