It is an older movie, Kevin Costner plays a Pitcher for the Tigers, the team is being sold and he will be traded. It is about one mans life and an uncertain future. He lives for the game and recounts his life with a woman he loves through flashbacks during the last game before the team is sold. The movie is called "For love of the Game". It has good ball game action for baseball fans and a real solid story. The game he is playing is against the Yankees as a spoiler team.
I recommend this movie highly, especially for Red Sox fans.
