Last nights meeting started around 8 (more or less), the meeting was pretty much fast tracked, due to the expected time the nominations would take.
Vinny sold raffle tickets for the Harley Davidson stained glass...Skull decoration....Thing? Not sure what you would call it, I'm sure it has a correct name. The drawing will be next week using a totally complicated two ticket raffle.
This weekend, starting Saturday (that's usually how it works) the Drill Team will be meeting noon-time at Wallyworld in Waterford, then proceeding to Airport Road for drill team practice.
On Sunday there is a Breakfast, $6.00 all you can eat Moose food, Moose sausage, Moose bacon, Moose eggs, cooked to order Moose omelette's at the Moose Club at 8 O'Moose in the morning.
Starting at 11am, there is the first Club Motorcycle Rodeo open to all members, lunch at noon, then games at 1pm. Bring a can of food for the food locker. The lunch will be pot luck so bring a dish. You can drop it on Saturday (Contact Tom Yuchniuk for details).
Parking for cars will be to the back, out of the way, but bring your bike, it won't be much of a motorcycle Club without bikes.
The Nominations are in, and Nominations are closed, Following is a list of the nominees:
El' Presidente'...........Jim Moran (Incumbent)
Vice Presidente'....... Dan Dunn
2nd Vice Presidente'....Dana Mcfee
Sexretary..................Jason Moran (Incumbent)
Treasurer..................Paul Neves (Incumbent)
Honor Guard Capt....Steve Distasio
Road Captain............Steve Natale
Road Guard Captain..Tom Llorett
The Club is looking for a House Chairperson
The New "Steward" position has been appointed and is Bill Thibodeau
Discussions were held about the up coming Groton Light parade, The Chicken dinner benefit and ride, The Halloween Party, and the Banquet, all will be discussed further at the next meeting.
There were two bright spots during the meeting the first is when Natale subcontracted a bulb repair out to Cherrick and since the bulbs base was broken and twisting Cherrick began spinning the fan in a goofy attempt to remove the bulb. The second was when Natale (repairing the Club road sign), mentioned that a part is missing an wanted to know if anyone had picked up or seen a 12" nipple, This sent Linda G. into a gelastic fit.
