Dependency can sometimes be a bad thing, You get used to something being a certain way, or Someone doing something regularly, and then that one time its different, or that person isn't there, nothing gets done.
Case in point, at every meeting there is an attendance sheet, It is our job as members to sign in, Simple right? Find the clip board, P-u-t a c-h-e-c-k n-e-x-t t-o y-o-u-r n-a-m-e, But for the last, I don't know, couple months or so, someone would take the clipboard and check off those that were there, you would pick it up and find your name already checked off. After a while, you didn't look, and you didn't have to. "Klay?" "Here" . If your name wasn't checked, your name wasn't called. It was checked off and all was right with the world.
Last week, that person was not at the meeting, "she" was off driving across the northern states. The roll call was called...it was one of the shortest roll calls ever...seems she took us all with her.
JR noticed after he passed by me that I wasn't checked off, he knew I was there, so he waited til the end to call me, Yup, he added me to the list with Charlie Kay, Galland Bradford, Ron Durand, and Bob Pepin.
