This Thursday is the LAST “Official Pre-Meeting Ride”
until next season. With dusk arriving earlier and earlier it just doesn’t make
sense to continue with these rides through the winter.
I have really enjoyed these 1 to 2 hour rides before
the meeting. Down by the shore, up into farmland or down into the city; back
roads or primary routes (like 12, 32, 82,
85,163, 184, etc.) it’s always a fun ride and you never know what you might find.
Meet at David’s Place, 1674 Hartford-New London Tpke. (Rt. 85) in Oakdale for a 6:00 PM AOB (Ass-On-Bike) - Opposite Nature's Art with the big Tyrannosaurus Rex out front.
Get there a little early if you'd like to enjoy one of the delicious items on their menu or a soft-serve ice cream before the ride.
