Meet at Dunkin Donuts on COLEMAN STREET IN NEW LONDON…..
A.O.B. 10 A.M.
We will ride to Stash’s CafĂ© for an “All You Can Eat”
breakfast. Cost is $8 per person and proceeds are being donated to the
Department of Developmental Services – South Region.
Stash’s will also be hosting a “Free” party after the
run. We still have decide whether to participate or take our own ride. Attend
our next Thursday Night Meeting if you want to get in on the discussion.
After breakfast we will ride to the Waterford Speedbowl
to assemble for a 1:00 PM departure.
The Gift Run’s destination is Camp Harkness where free coffee and
doughnuts will be provided by Dunkin’ Donuts.
Remember to bring a gift!
Items should be new and unwrapped. - Do not wrap the gifts.
Suggested gifts include:
- Lego Blocks
- Sports Items (Balls)
- Puzzles (large piece or wooden)
- Sensory Items (toys that light, make noise, vibrate or feel good to the touch)
- Adult Clothing – any size, hats, gloves, sweaters, sweatshirts, pajamas, robes, slippers
- CD’s/DVD’s
- Books (Large print or on DVD)
- Watches, jewelry
- Crafts and art supplies
- Wallets/purses
- Towels, bath and body items
- Gift Cards: Grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, Walmart, Target
- Blankets / Throws –
Speaking of throw blankets, Margo has made some nice fleece
blankets that she is selling at cost especially for this event. Some as low as $10. See
her at the next Thursday Night Meeting.
She is also selling raffle tickets for a Halloween Candy
Corn blanket she made. Drawing will appropriately be at the next Thursday Night Meeting on Halloween 10/31/13.
