You Can't Trust the Weatherman

So I get up at 6 AM to let the dog out and notice dampness on the ground; not very wet, just a little dampness.

Check again at 7:30 AM and it’s raining pretty steadily. This has continued for the past hour with no signs of letting up, so I check the weather services:

Weather.com still shows NO chance of any precipitation at 9 AM and the chance of precipitation increasing to 35% by 2 PM.

Weather.gov shows scattered showers mainly BEFORE noon.

Accuweather.com concurs with Weather.gov showing the chance of precipitation dropping to 7% at noon and to 1% at 1 PM and the remainder of the day. (covering their bet with that 1%)

Like the song says: 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. So I’m pushing back this morning’s A.O.B. to Noon. If things don’t clear up before then, I’ll just call the whole thing off.
