The rain has stopped falling, but there is mist in the air,
the temperature has not risen much and I still have black ice in my driveway.
So I’ve decided not to ride today. I apologize for getting anyone’s hopes up,
but it just isn’t worth the risk and discomfort.
I blew it off and went to the diner for breakfast, at 9am it stopped raining, so, I took the car home, put on all my winter riding finery, jumped on Jenny and headed to Dunkin. I decided on the Interstate that it was too damn chilly with the mist sprying all over so I went to work and swapped Jenny for Charlene. I arrived at Dunkin at 10:12. I figured either there was no ride or... I missed it.
