Niantic Light Parade

 Bad weather delayed the 21st annual East Lyme Light Parade Sunday, but with last-minute rescheduling and a Monday night rain date, the event went off wonderfully.

About 60 groups participated, including our own club,while bubbles drifted across main street


The parade is one of the best parades they have in the area..


Cub Scout Pack 24 from Niantic's Lego Millennium Falcon Star Wars float took first place in the nonprofit group category.

Third: Knights of Columbus

Fire company float:

First: Goshen Fire Department
Second (tie): Oswegatchie Fire Department
                     Chesterfield Fire Department


• Best dance group float:


First: Kiks Dance Center
Second: Alyson's School of Dance
Third: All the Right Moves Dance Center
