Motorcycle Cannonball Run
Starts Newburgh New York, (Route 84 on the opposite side of the Hudson from Beacon). At the newly opened Motorcyclepedia Museum. (Perhaps a Saturday/ Sunday ride destination, it's not that far.)
3800 miles later you will cross the Golden Gate Bridge into the land of Rice a Roni, San Francisco.
15 days total, 14 Riding one day break at Sturgis. 300 mile days average.
The ride will run along the coast of Lake Erie, cross Lake Michigan on a high speed ferry, from there it will lead across the Plains and the Rockies finishing with a 150 cruise along teh Pacific Coast Highway. There will be less than 100 miles on interstate highways.

Stage3: Sept 9, Sandusky to Milwaukee Wi 310 miles
Stage 4: Sept 10, Milwaukee to Anamosa IA, 210 miles
Stage 5: Sept 11, Anamosa to Spirit Lake IA, 280 miles
Stage 6: Sept 12, Spirit Lake to Murdo SD 280 miles
Stage 7: Sept 13, Murdo to Sturgis SD 300 miles
Rest Day Sept 14, Sturgis
Stage 8: Sept 15, Sturgis to Sheridan Wy. 250 miles
Stage 9: Sept 16, Sheridan to Jackson Hole Wy. 320 miles
Stage 10: Sept 17, Jackson Hole to Mountain Home ID. 300 miles
Stage 11: Sept 18, Moutain Home to Burns OR. 275 miles
Stage 12: Sept 19, Burns to Alturas CA. 250 miles
Stage 13: Sept 20, Alturas to Redway Ca. 330 miles
Stage 14: Sept 21, Redway to San Francisco Ca. 230 miles.
