Construction continues on the Pavilion, the metal netting should arrive tomorrow and the concrete slab should be being poured a few days later. Once the slab sets, the forms will be removed and the sidewalk along the front of the building, and kick-stand pad will be poured. It was decided tonight that the sidewalk to the rear of the building will also be poured to make it wider, and a pad will be poured for the trailer Charlie has donated to the club to be parked allowing it to stay off the damp ground and be locked in place. The trailer pad will be placed across the rear parking lot from the pavilion. To allow it to sit dry and out of the shade the two trees currently standing there will be removed.
A question was asked of the Club members to decide on where the flag pole will be placed since it was standing where the pavilion now stands. Once the spot is chosen a hole must be dug for it. So think about where you believe it should be before the next meeting.
