This will be a highway run to OCC to ensure we arrive in time for the 11:00 AM departure for the charity ride.
4 hours may seem like a lot of time, but we will need to make one gas & restroom stop along the way and we don't want to arrive just as the bikes are leaving on the charity run.
NOTES:
- I will not be returning to CT that day, but continuing North to visit family for a few days. So we will need to pick a ride leader for the return trip.
- Wear your colors. There is no restriction against this and there were a number of clubs who wore theirs at the last event.

A Ride of Remembrance

The Ride of Remberance scheduled for this Saturday, 9/14, will be dedicated in honor of Staff Sgt. Todd Lobraico, Jr, a New York Air National Guard member based at Stewart Air National Guard Base who was recently killed in Afghanistan.
Staff Sgt. Todd Lobraico Jr., 22, had deployed for Afghanistan in June with the 105th Security Forces Squadron. Staff Sgt. Lobraico died on Thursday (9/5) of injuries he sustained when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire near Bagram Airfield.
Remembering the men, women and children lost in the attacks on September 11th, 2001 and honoring the more than 6,000 military members who have given their lives, as well as the thousands of wounded warriors who have fought for our freedoms.
EVENT- 1st annual Remembrance Ride supporting The Wounded Warrior Project and the Hudson Valley SPCA and its efforts to raise awareness and monies for abused, neglected and homeless animals.
