Overall turn out for the Rally was light this year and so was the turnout for NLMC. 15 bikes and 19 members. But, we had an awesome time because we make are own fun. Once again this weekend no
Road Captain because he had to work on his drilling equipment, no Club Road Sergeant, and no Road Guards. However we had a beautiful ride, handle traffic old school style, spent a relaxing hour at Town Tavern on the patio, then finished, had some food and music at the Pavilion, my Irish bike Street Glide got photo'd with 2 Haymond Girls, and Dan Dunn won best hand. 10 of us left there and headed to Misquamicut Beach. The Iron Order MC were having an Anniversary Pig Roast at Sandy's and we were invited. It started at noon and were arriving at 3:30pm near the end. They had taken over Sandy's exclusively, and there were still a couple of hundred IOMC still there from 6 New England States and New York City. I was really impressed. We have 225 members and can only get 19 to support a local poker run and they can get support from 7 States with probably 400 for an Anniversary Party. It's was reminiscent of the Club we use to be in 2007 and 2008.
Anyway, the party was over at 4:30pm and were invited to the Westerly Clubhouse for a cookout. We went, met more from the Westerly Chapter and the New London Chapter and watched the New York and Vermont boys leave from there. Good time, a fantastic bunch of guys, great brotherly love, everyone was respectful and happy. A real pleasure to be in their company.
I want to mention our recruitment team at the Montville Run and Rally.
A Special Thanks!!!

Just took a few pictures today if you want to share them, another good ride with a great group of people. I guess we could have ridding up to Sandy's, just ran into a few drops just as we arrived at home. Looking forward to the continued weekly trips and hope to be going on the longer ones too.
