2012 is nearing the end and all appointed position will expire. Please
let me know if you want to continue in your position for another year, or if you
have an interest in a position in the event one becomes available. All positions
are appointed by the President, and I have no intentions of replacing anyone
unless you tell me you want to step down.
Sadly, Tom Yuchniuk is stepping down and his replacement will be Doug
Young. My sincerest appreciation for the great job Tom has done as Sgt. at Arms,
he has been my personal one man Secret Service. Kudos to you Tom.

News/Blog Manager: Traditionally the blog is the news,
started by Ron Durand and taken over by M. Beebe. It is my error this past year that the news
manager was not the one doing the blog.
While this years News Letter was professionally
done and informative, it wasn't really news. That will
hopefully be corrected for 2013.
County positions are traditionally appointed by the President upon
recommendation of
the County Chair, left in place until the members steps down, or is
removed on the
recommendation of the County Chair.
Club Road Sergeants are utilized first in the absence of the
Road Captain. Anyone who
is interested in becoming a Road Sergeant should
make yourself known to the Road Captain.
County Road Sergeants have a purpose of leading County rides offered by the
Chairman,
preferably on Saturdays and during the week. County Road Sergeants may
also be utilized
on Club sanctioned rides, in the absences of the Road Captain
and Club Road Sergeant.
Also all Sergeants may be used as Road Guards, if no regular Guards
are available.
Anyone interested in becoming a Road Guard should make
intentions known to the incoming
Road Guard Captain Steve Distasio
County Recruiters should coordinate efforts with the Club Recruiter. The County
Recruiter
has the responsibility of reaching out to potential prospects, selling
them on the idea of the
Club by presenting Club information in an enthusiastic
manner.
