Due to a heightened security level, check points, long waits, bomb threats and info that WTC area was in lockdown - I got word that both of our groups had cancelled the ride as of 2pm saturday. Unwilling to accept the cancellation, I went onto my plan B and notified them that I wasnt canceling and would be leading a group of us to the HD dealership on Northern Blvd for the NYPD escorted ride, unless of course that ride was cancelled.
So we rode and it turned out to be a great ride as only a night-ride into NYC, Times Square and of course the WTC site can be!!
