This event reminded me very much of Halloween in
Greenwich Village, NY, with all the costumes and cross-dressers. To say there
was a festive atmosphere would be putting it too mildly.
After sampling these two varieties, I knew I wasn't going home empty handed. |
Rosie picked up this beautiful hair barrette. |
There were shoppers of all ages examining the wares. |
Sandi helps Ray get ready for the race. Gold sandals to match his gold fire truck! |
Pink Zebra Home provided materials for making your own candle at the event and many different types of scented wax that melts easily in a was warmer. |
Bat Woman had her hands full today. |
Ray trying out his new shoes. |
TO THE BAT CAVE! |
Love those pants! |
So did she! |
Linda refused to blow any of these noise makers, knowing where they had been! |
Ray may be a sweetheart, but Tinkerbell, he ain't! |
Darian as Batman, with Mom (Melissa) and Dad (Chris) |
And they're off! |
Margo kept her word, wearing her slut pumps. |
Daniela is ready for New Years. |
Having kept her word, Margo goes to change into more "reasonable" footwear. |
Another escapade successfully completed. |
Yolanda gets right into the thick of it. |
Rosie, needing a place to sit and finding the small bar a bit too crowded, retreated to the car and began to paper craft. |
The Man of the Hour! |
Time to pull the raffle tickets. |
The crowd tries to squeeze into the front of the bar. |
If this had been a boat, it would have capsized! |
Daniela won a signed Dale Earnhardt Jr. plaque and replica jacket. |
Margo won a small cock. |
As well as a gift certificate to the pottery business where it was created. |
In the end a good time was had by all and I’m sure
that a good deal of funds were generated. Raffle tickets sold well and they
sold out of T-shirts at $20 each. With any luck we will return next February
for another day of wacky racers.
