I was not on it, but then I had not planned on being on it.
My plan was for a Saturday ride across Connecticut and New York (in a car) to the Great State of Pennsylvania. There I was to go to Bethlehem and Allentown to take Railroad photos of Norfolk Southern, then visit Jim Thorpe, Port Clinton, Tamaqua and film Blue Mountain and Reading. Ride up through Hazelton and spend the night in the Wilkes-Barre area. On Sunday I was to awake (always a good thing) chase the Delaware Lackawanna Railroad, then visit Steamtown in Scranton. From there I was to switch gears and visit Mohegan Sun Wilkes-Barre, roll down to Mount Airy Lodge in the Poconos before heading east to Yonkers and Empire Casino before heading home.
But as usually happens when you plan something, something goes wrong, in this case I got ill. So I spent the day at home stareing at the walls, and watching movies with my father. I find it absolutly amazing how many movies from the 30's and 40's are still in existance, I am also amazed at how many of them shouldn't be.
Anyway...back to the Sunday ride,
12 bikes, Vinny Pons sent me photos and I will post them this evening when I get home.
klay
