It happens to all of us, time passes, we get older...
You still hang out with the younger guys but your lines droop a little and you're a little grey'er..
You find that you're not as regular as you used to be,
and you get plugged up easier
(Metal fillings in the oil pressure switch)
Sometimes your drive isn't what it used to be and they have to get in there and look for the issues
(Chain lube sleeve shredded)
Some days you end up at the doctors, they'll call it a procedure...
(Gas spilling on the ground, motorcycle lift Calvary style, Chain and sleeve replacment)
So you see, getting old isn't easy, you have a lifetime of mileage on you and once in a while...
It's just easier to take the Senior Citizen transport instead of driving.
These photos are from Evert's blog...
The Alaska trip.
For some fantastic scenery photos and a good story check out his blog:
Also, be sure to read Tom's story of the trip, it is on the NLMC website, "Road Captain's Blog" on the Longriders tab.
You know...Seeing these pictures of Tom on his back in Canada and Alaska goes a long way in explaining why his patch looks like it does, a combination of Wind burn, age lines and years of eating Road dust and dirt.
