Why all the smiles?

The person in the first photo is one Mister Steve Murphy, Smurph to you and I. This Gentleman has had the honor of holding the crash record for the Drill Team last year. This record has less to do with quantity than with Quality, anyone can drop a bike, it takes a professional to do it with Gusto.


 So...why is he smiling?

Could it be because of the damage on Tom's bike?

No, that's not it, you see, The award comes with a trophy, a hat. Smurph has been the trophy holder for all winter long...and after Tom's display of riding prowess on Monday night, dropping ol' red five times, and breaking the hand brake, Tom now has the honor of the hat.

Looks good on him doesn't it...

When was the last time anyone had seen Smurph's hair.

Actually there was talk the other night of retiring each years trophy to that years winner's show case. Have each year's hat embroidered with the year, and every new year brings out a new hat....
