Why is Smurph sleeping comfortably?
Because after last nights escapades during Monday night practice, he is secure in the Knowledge that he is well on his way to winning the hat again in 2013. That will make him a two time World Champion.

Sunday's Ride Report
I know this is a little late...but...Thing's have been going on.
Sunday the Club broke into two groups, El Presedente' took one and the Carretera Capitán and Carretera Capitán de la Guardia took the other. Both groups met at Dunkin on 32, El Presedente' took his group and mapped the upcoming Montville Run and Rally before heading to East Haddam for Lunch. The Carretera Capitán and Carretera Capitán de la Guardia ride left Dunkin and went to the Montville High School for Road Guard Practice and riding skills for those interested. Those interested totaled around 16.bikes had a good time. Riding ranged from slow maneuvers to drill team type cone work to follow the leader evasion.
After Practice the group headed up Old Colchester to 82, then 82 trough Salem to East Haddam where we joined the Presidents group for lunch.
Lunch was at the Town Tavern and Restaurant on Town Street, where routes 82 and 151 come together in East Haddam. The food was excellent with members trying foods ranging from Zuppa di Mussels, Shrimp Cocktail, and Fried Calamari Appetizers and salads to main courses such as Fried Hole belly Clams, Zuppa di Pasta, Tavern Burgers, and Chicken Parmesan.
The food was excellent, so much so in fact that New Haven is adding the Tavern to its ride list.
Afterwards the group broke up, New Haven went across the Conn River and west. Tom Headed a group down 82, and four of us crossed over Mount Parnassus, down through Millington, passed The Hopyard, down the dirt swamp road, over to Witch Meadow and onto 85. At the rotary We lost the tail gunner who after picking up route 82 managed to join the tail end of Tom's Group. Our Group stopped at Davids Place for Ice Cream before heading home.

Let me tell you a story...
My newest employee was the second person to arrive at work today, the first person in the door was Mister Moran. My newest employee is not a member of "the" Club, but he is affiliated through...blood. We will, for matters of security, call him by a different name to protect his identity, We, for the purposes of this story, will refer to him as...Kurt
instead of...Doug Jr.
Kurt arrived at work and sat down in front of a computer to start the day, Kurt has no access to the systems yet, no user names or passwords. A small matter of not knowing did not deter him, he simply put on his spy face.
And in the tradition of those great Hollywood movies he set about to break the codes... By passing firewalls and security protocols, he attacked the system. He worked out the algorithms, broke codes, worked out Advanced encryption's and Asymmetric Cryptography. He went after the system with the confidence of a professional hacker.
And after a few minutes he was quickly able to Security Lock the main program used to run every other program we use.
Yes..in those few minutes he was able to put all the work we need to do in the morning on hold, forcing us to do...other things...
